Tomorrow is your first day of 1st grade! Wow! You are getting to be such a big girl. This summer was full of firsts for you: you wrote your first story-with real words and a beginning, middle, and end! (future blogger maybe!?). You learned to tie your shoes and insist on tying everyone's shoes now. You learned to take a shower all by yourself. You learned how to answer the phone. You learned how to TEXT! Yikes! You helped get Chloe dressed in the morning and picked out the cutest outfits! You swam with no help, no floaties, nothing. You had your first sleepover with a friend at our house (you fell asleep early, but that's ok!).It's hard to believe you used to be this tiny little princess that made videos like this:

:)
I am very proud of your grown-up-ness. You are such a sweet little girl. Your whip smart, funny, and just down right the most perfect Kaitlyn on the planet, if you ask me.
Listen to your teacher, eat your lunch, and as your Grandma Kam would say, "Smile and Make Friends."
Love,
Mommy

Stopping by from SITS!
Super cute. I love the first day of school. Especially 1st grade because that's like officially being in school as Kindy garden deoesn't count.
That's such a sweet post.
Hi! Popping over from SITS Roll Call to visit.
They grow up much too fast don't they? I have a brand new baby granddaughter and have a feeling that I'll be going to her high school graduation before I know it.
Have a great week.
Also stopping by from SITs.
Hope her first day was wonderful.
I have a little boy, Stink, who I am preparing to send to his first day of pre-school. Can't believe it!
