2010 is when...

May 2010 be the year that I...
  • finally clean out my closet of clothes I don’t like, don’t wear, don’t fit, don’t fit my life.
  • take my daughters to DisneyWorld
  • finally get to my goal weight (+/- a few pounds!)
  • learn to love going to the gym
  • make a conscious effort to save money instead of spending it
  • learn to cook (and not just passable cooking—really learn to make delicious healthy meals)
  • run a mile without stopping
  • redecorate the girls bathroom
  • make advances in my career
  • get an iPhone
  • take my blog to a new level and make it something more than it is
  • take my daughters to their first ballet performance and their first Broadway musical
  • go on more dates with my loving husband
  • appreciate what I have and not long for more
  • let go of caring about what others think of me and focus on what I think of me
  • learn to forgive myself for not being a perfect wife, mom, sister, daughter and just be the best that I can be and get over it
  • learn how to mow the lawn and use the snowblower (that one’s for you, J)

What will 2010 be for you?

Such a fantastic list of goals for 2010. You have several that are also on my own list...like, lose weight and advance my career.

I must admit that I laughed out loud when I read, "learn to love the gym." I think I am going to have to add that one. Hilarious!

I'm with you on the "run a mile without stopping" thing. Frankly, I'd like to run without hurting ;)

2010 will be a great year for you--I know it!

I write down my goals in a 2010 goals booklet. It is always in my wallet and I review it regularly. It keeps me focused on what really matters to me.

Enjoy and share,
Ronny

I'm not huge on resolutions but I am big on goals - I haven't compiled my 'official list' yet but I will soon - and it must go on my blog so I can refer to it - but the list, in part, contains - travel more (& we've already booked our first family trip to Disney World), take more pictures WITH my kids instead of just OF my kids, and to get myself back into decent shape...there are others, many many others...let's hope I can accomplish a couple!

You should get an iPhone for sure! AT&T dropped the price on the "old" 8mb 3G (not 3Gs) down to $99! I'll bet you could get a refurb for $50 (mine was a "refurb" and there was no way to tell)
