The sharing feature is my favorite part of google docs. My book club shares a spreadsheet of each month's book and host. A large group of online friends shares a spreadsheet with all our contact info. Update these things once and everyone has the new info rather than everyone having to update their own files. Love it.

I mainly use it for sharing docs or stuff for my own site. All of my crime dashboards are powered by Google Docs spreadsheet and the charts gadgets that go along with it.

While I like the idea of Google Docs as a replacement for Office, it's not even close yet. But, being that I can easily make interactive maps, charts, and upload/download data to it automatically makes it my first choice in anything that needs to be shared or viewed on the web.
